Vlasic holding out for Milan move but could resort to €25m transfer

It’s not exactly a secret that Milan are looking for a playmaker on the market, as a result of Hakan Calhanoglu’s departure. Nikola Vlasic is one of the players on their radar and the Croatian is pushing for the move, a report claims.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Vlasic is pushing for a move to Milan this summer, set to leave CSKA Moscow. However, the latter are unwilling to accept the conditions the Rossoneri have proposed.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara would like the attacking midfielder on a paid loan with an option to buy. The Russian side, meanwhile, would like to cash in €25-30m immediately and this has made the negotiations very difficult.

The coming days will be decisive for the player as Zenit have put a €25m offer on the table, and an agreement seems to be close. Vlasic would like a move to Italy but if nothing changes soon, he could end up elsewhere.
