Melee breaks out after Porto’s 2-2 draw with Sporting

A melee saw four red cards issued at the end of Porto’s 2-2 Primeira Liga match with Sporting on Friday.

Frustrated at a kick to Pepe’s head in the dying second, players from both sides took to each other.

Instantly both benches emptied and officials came from everywhere to try and quell the rising tempers.

Augustin Marchesin, Pepe, Joao Palhinha and Bruno Tabata, were all sent off for their roles in the incident.
