Euro 2020: La Cartuja able to hold 16,000 fans for Euro 2020 games

Fans will be able to attend Euro 2020 games at the Seville-based Estadio de La Cartuja after the Spanish government gave the green light, following COVID-enforced restrictions.

In regions which are in Phase 1, stadiums will be able to welcome up to 5,000 fans for the last two fixtures of the LaLiga Santander season.

The Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, also stated that matches held at La Cartuja during the European Championship will be able to hold 16,000 fans.

La Cartuja is set to host Spain‘s three group-stage matches against Sweden (June 14), Poland (June 19) and Slovakia (June 23), along with a last-16 tie, which will see the winner of Group B take on the third-placed team from Group A/D/E/F on June 27.
