Valencia vs Celta: Kang-in Lee returns to form

Kang-in Lee was Valencia‘s stand-out player in their hard-fought 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo at Estadio Mestalla on Saturday.

The Korean started again for Los Che upfront and produced two superb through balls which changed the flow of the game.

His first incisive pass found Maxi Gomez in space with the Uruguayan striker trying to dribble past Celta goalkeeper Ruben Blanco, who brought down his opponent and was shown a red card.

Celta went down to ten men and four minutes into stoppage time Kang-in teed up Manu Vallejo, who sent the ball into the bottom right corner to beat a helpless Ivan Villar.

Valencia put the game to bed four minutes later with a clinical finish by substitute Kevin Gameiro.
