MANCHESTER UNITED will face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup Final after overcoming Nottingham Forest 4-0 on aggregrate.
The Red Devils were already virtually guaranteed their place in the Wembley showpiece on February 26.
That was after they romped to a 3-0 semi-final first leg lead at the City Ground last week.
Despite that, Erik ten Hag refused to take any risks tonight back at Old Trafford as he named a strong line-up.
And even with the tie essentially already done and dusted, he still called upon Marcus Rashford from the bench.
But it was fellow sub Anthony Martial, who came on in a triple change alongside the Englishman and the returning Jadon Sancho, who broke the deadlock on 73 minutes.
He and Rashford broke clear, and after the latter’s effort was blocked, the French ace rifled home.
Seconds later it was Rashford that turned provider as his pull-back was knocked in by Fred to make it 5-0 on aggregate and two on the night.
