Monchi prepares to secure Anthony Martial arrival for Sevilla

There is going to be a bombshell in the market, Sevilla are going to sign Anthony Martial in the January transfer market, with Monchi preparing to secure the Frenchman’s arrival from Manchester United.

Julen Lopetegui asked for a forward signing at the beginning of the window and he is going to get his wish, with Martial seen as a gift for the Spanish coach.

Negotiations have been ongoing for much of the window to this point, although Manchester United‘s unwillingness to share the load of the player’s salary had meant a deal looked unlikely.

Now, though, in spite of the interest of Juventus, Sevilla have been able to make progress with their English counterparts with Martial confirming to Monchi that he only wanted to sign with the Andalusian club.

He has even accepted a reduction in his salary according to El Desmarque, and Sevilla will pay around six million euros to loan the forward for four months until the end of the season.
