Milan are still looking for a playmaker on the market as the addition of Brahim Diaz isn’t enough for this upcoming season. Hakim Ziyech is still their first choice but the operation is difficult, a report claims.
As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanLive), Ziyech is considered the first choice by Milan and this isn’t exactly a secret. At the same time, the Moroccan has struggled to get playing time at Chelsea, which has increased the optimism.
The operation is currently out of reach for the Rossoneri, simply because Chelsea haven’t opened up to a low-cost solution. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to secure the former Ajax man on a loan with an option to buy, but that’s always hard.
They are still holding out for an opening, though, which could arrive towards the end of the transfer window. Then there is another issue, namely the salary of Ziyech, which is ar €5m per season.
