Kylian Mbappe selected Chelsea hero Mason Mount in a star-studded list of three players he would like to learn more about.
Mount, 22, has established himself as one of England’s brightest talents with his sublime performances in Chelsea’s midfield.
The Blues academy graduate scored nine goals this season and was a mainstay in the starting XI under Thomas Tuchel and his predecessor, Frank Lampard.
Mount also laid on nine assists, none more important than his through-ball to feed Kai Havertz to score the winner in the Champions League final last month.
And his phenomenal displays have caught the eye of one of the best players in the world in Mbappe.

The Paris Saint-Germain sensation, 22, would like to know more about Mount, while he also picked out Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon.
Asked which three players he’d like to read interviews with, Mbappe told France Football : “Gigi (Buffon) because I would like to know what he is going to do next.
“Messi, because he does not speak much, so we would discover things. Mason Mount, because he is a superb player that we don’t yet know much about.”
2006 World Cup-winner Buffon is yet to decide on his next move after leaving Juventus this summer, and Mbappe is clearly keen to know where the 43-year-old will end up.
The pair played alongside each other in the 2018/19 season and won Ligue 1 before Buffon returned for a second stint with Juve.
Elsewhere, Mbappe may have grown up idolising Cristiano Ronaldo, but he would like to find out more about the life of six-time Ballon d’Or-winner Lionel Messi.

The Argentine generally keeps his cards close to his chest and he, like Buffon, is facing a crucial decision over his future.
Meanwhile, Mbappe and Mount have never faced off at either club or international level, with the latter not yet called up to the England squad when they faced France in a friendly in 2017.
But the former Monaco man’s hopes of finding out more about Mount may come to pass this summer, as the Three Lions could clash with Les Bleus at Euro 2020.
Should Gareth Southgate steer his side to a first-place finish in Group D and France finish second in Group F, England will host the World Cup holders at Wembley in the last 16.
France are favourites to win the competition having endured heartbreak on home soil five years ago, when Portugal edging them out in the final in extra-time.
England are close on their tail as second favourites as Southgate’s side bid for their first European Championship triumph.
