FC Barcelona beat Elche 4-0 to go 15 points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga
Xavi’s side took the lead after 19 minutes with their first chance of the game. Robert Lewandowski struck his effort into the ground and past Edgar Badia.
Elche responded well to going behind by pressing Barcelona higher up the pitch and playing in more advanced positions but ultimately failed to create any clear-cut opportunities.
