Five players in particular have impressed the Dutchman: Nico Gonzalez, Yusuf Demir, Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Rey Manaj.

Of those five, Nico, Demir and Gavi all have a serious chance of getting senior minutes throughout the course of the 2021/22 season.

Manaj has been the top goalscorer of pre-season, netting four goals including a hat-trick against Nastic.

He, however, will not stay at the Camp Nou for the rest of the season, as he knows how difficult it will be to claim a space in the senior team in an attacking position. As such, the club are looking to loan out the 24-year-old.
