Bennacer with Enzo Raiola in the Maldives as Milan wait for signals over renewal

Ismael Bennacer is currently enjoying a few days vacation but will soon join the rest of the squad in Dubai and talks over his renewal will also resume, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that while most of the squad have been back at Milanello over the last few days, Bennacer was absent as he has been given a few more days off due to having represented the Algerian national team, so he is on holiday.

He will join the group directly at the training camp in Dubai which begins on December 11th and will feature friendlies against Arsenal and Liverpool, while his renewal will also be spoken about more given Milan club has been negotiating an extension for some time.

It is not expected that an agreement will be reached in a short time, even if the change of agent by Bennacer – who has left Moussa Sissoko’s agency to joing that of Enzo Raiola – might open the doors more to a stay.

The 25-year-old would be happy to renew with Milan as long as an offer of €4.5-5m net per season arrives. He is currently in the Maldives, where Enzo Raiola is also present together with the Algerian, while Milan wait for signals ahead of resuming negotiations.
