Arsenal were tipped for another busy transfer window after their summer spending spree, but the Gunners are still yet to add to their squad in January.
The Premier League winter break arrived at just the right time for Mikel Arteta’s side, who are without a win in five games.
The Gunners recent disappointing string of results has seen them dumped out of both domestic competitions and lose ground on the race for a top four finish.
However, the good news for the Spaniard is there are still a few days to go before the transfer market slams its doors shut until the summer, meaning there is still time to negotiate some last-minute deals.
With that in mind, here, Mirror Football brings you the latest gossip from the Emirates.

Arsenal have reportedly received a loan offer from both Barcelona and Juventus for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to The Athletic, the two European clubs have made official approaches to the Gunners over a deal until the end of the season.
Aubameyang is facing an uncertain future at The Emirates and has not played for the club since he was stripped of the captaincy by Arteta in December.
The 32-year-old has been at Arsenal since 2018, having arrived in a £55m deal from Borussia Dortmund, but there are doubts as to whether he will remain at the club beyond the current window.
Aubameyang reportedly earns around £350,000-a-week and Arsenal are said to be open to allowing the Gabonese forward to leave, although they may be forced to cover part of his salary.

Gunners agree summer deal
Arsenal have agreed deal in principle to sign New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner in the summer, according to reports.
The Evening Standard say Arsenal will pay the MLS club around £5million for Turner, while add-ons and a 10 per cent sell-on percentage of a future transfer fee will also be included.
The 27-year-old’s breakthrough at Revolution has seen him establish himself as part of the USA national team setup under Gregg Berhalter.
The goalkeeper was on hand to help his country keep a clean sheet during their 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over El Salvador in Columbus on Thursday night.
Turner’s move will also reportedly pave the way for Bernd Leno’s departure from Arsenal in the summer.
Leno, 29, has lost his place as the club’s No 1 goalkeeper following the arrival of Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United last summer and has struggled for first-team opportunities as a result.

Wolves are reportedly set to demand £40m from Arsenal if they are to sign midfielder Ruben Neves.
Neves, 24, has been linked with a move to one of the Premier League ’s biggest clubs, with Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly interested in the player.
The Sun report the Midlands outfit are standing firm on their asking price and are not willing to lower their valuation of the player.
Neves joined Wolves in 2017 from Portuguese giants Porto and quickly established himself as a mainstay in the starting XI.
The Portuguese midfielder has made 21 appearances for Bruno Lage’s side this season, scoring twice and providing one assist.
