For several reasons, AC Milan are looking to invest in a striker this summer, and Daniele Longo has stated that the Rossoneri may be presented with an intriguing offer in the upcoming weeks.
As the summer approaches, there is a heap of uncertainty in several areas, and in the striker department, the uncertainty is clear to see. Olivier Giroud may leave the club, but he will not make a choice until the end of the season.
Therefore, it seems like Milan will look to bring in offensive reinforcements in the summer. Longo, when speaking to RadioRossonera, claimed that the Rossoneri could be offered a striker through Jorge Mendes, and the agent plans to meet with the club soon.
“Goncalo Ramos is a name that will surely be very hot this summer because PSG will win Ligue 1, I see him well against Barcelona and I don’t see how Luis Enrique can not be confirmed. And today the coach does not consider him ready for PSG. An agent like Mendes will have to move him next year.
“From what we know, in a few weeks, there will be a discussion with Milan. He’s a player that the Rossoneri already liked from his time at Benfica. I don’t exclude that Milan’s door to talk about him is open. But we need to understand how a possible negotiation can be organised because PSG tend to be hostile to selling players on loan to top clubs. I think Milan would only consider Ramos on loan or on economically advantageous terms.”
As Longo stated, the Diavolo have previously been interested in the Portuguese forward, and a report suggested that if the club were to make a move for the striker, another could join him in joining the Rossoneri.
