Official: Atletico Madrid vs. AC Milan starting XIs

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made some changes to the starting line-up that will face Atletico Madrid tonight compared to the team that lost to Fiorentina on Saturday.

Ciprian Tatarusanu will start in goal with Mike Maignan not quite ready to return yet, and he will be protect protected by a back four of Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez. Fikayo Tomori has missed out due to a hip problem, while Davide Calabria has a muscle issue.

The midfield double pivot is Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie just as it was on Saturday night, with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rade Krunic as the trident behind the striker. Rafael Leao is not in the best condition, while Olivier Giroud gets the nod to allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic some rest.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Krunic; Giroud.

Bench: Desplanches, Mirante; Ballo-Touré, Florenzi, Gabbia; Bakayoko, Bennacer, Messias; Ibrahimović, Leão, Maldini.
