Several members of the AC Milan squad were present at Milanello today despite in being a rest day, with the injured players continuing their treatment.
MilanNews reports that Pioli has given his team a day off for today despite the 5-2 thrashing at the hands of Sassuolo yesterday, as it is normal for those who have played to have a day of recovery.
However, several players came to Milanello anyway, including the long-term injured playing Mike Maignan, Alessandro Fiorenzi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who continued their recovery work with the aims of coming back next month.
Fikayo Tomori and Sergino Dest continued with therapy on their muscle problems, given both missed yesterday’s match against Sassuolo. It is therefore unknown if both, one or neither of the pair will be back for the game on Sunday against Inter at San Siro, one which certainly carries a huge meaning after an awful January.
