Alessandro Florenzi won the first Scudetto in his career on Sunday evening, just one year after leaving Roma to join AC Milan on loan. And it seems the experienced right-flank man could remain at the club.
Milan have the option to sign him on a permanent basis thanks to a €4.5m clause in the loan deal. The feeling is that the Rossoneri will redeem Florenzi, especially since he really came up big with his experience and quality in the season finale.
Speaking to MilanTV, as you can see in the video below (with subtitles), Florenzi discussed the emotions of winning a Scudetto and also revealed he thought about his wife at the full-time whistle on Sunday.
In the coming weeks, the future of Florenzi will be fully defined and it remains to be seen what decision Milan will take, even if everything points towards an extended partnership. Hopefully, that will be the case.
