Champions Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of sealing a domestic record £100m transfer for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.

City’s rivals Manchester United have spent big too, with Jadon Sancho’s £73m switch from Borussia Dortmund finally completed.

As Sancho arrives in the Premier League, there looks set to be several big names who will depart the English league.

Here, Mirror Sport takes a look at 10 stars who could depart the Premier League this summer for pastures new across Europe.

1. Paul Pogba – Manchester United

Paul Pogba’s second spell in Manchester could be drawing to a close.

The Frenchman returned to Old Trafford in a record £89m move from Juventus, but is now in the final year of his contract.

It’s been reported in recent days that the midfield ace has been impressed by United’s summer business, but isn’t sold on committing to a new deal just yet.

Pogba’s second spell with the club hasn’t been as fruitful as expected, and links with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain have intensified in recent weeks.

The French outfit are said to be confident of wrapping up a deal for less than the £60m United are demanding.

His agent Mino Raiola is believed to have been touting his client to potential suitors.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains confident he can persuade the player to sign an extension, but the longer Pogba stalls, the more tempting a bid from elsewhere will look for United.

2. Jordan Henderson – Liverpool

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is another star who could be set for a shock departure from the Premier League this summer.

The Athletic revealed earlier this month that Henderson and the Reds are currently in a contract stand-off, with Henderson keen to resolve his future one way or another this summer.

Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to lose his skipper, but he could be powerless to prevent it.

The 31-year-old still has two years left to run on his current deal, but that hasn’t deterred interest from French giants PSG, who have reportedly been sniffing around the England star.

Atletico Madrid and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in luring the ex-Sunderland man away from Anfield this summer.

It’s unlikely Henderson would move to another club in the Premier League, so any exit would likely mean a departure to Europe.

Arsenal hitman Alexandre Lacazette has moved into the final 12 months of his deal at the Emirates.

The Frenchman finished as the Gunners’ top scorer last season with 17 goals, but he’s failed to live up to the hype since his £46.5m move from Lyon.

With his contract situation in mind, Arsenal are receptive to offers for the 30-year-old this summer.

Calciomercato are reporting that Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are keen on the ex-Lyon man.

Atletico are looking for competition for Luis Suarez and Lacazette may fit the bill as Diego Simeone’s men bid to retain their La Liga title next term.

The Frenchman is one of Arsenal’s top earners, so getting his salary off the books would give their transfer budget a boost.

4. Aymeric Laporte – Manchester City

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte was a rock at the back for City back in the 19/20 season.

But the return to form of John Stones, coupled with Stones’ commanding partnership with Ruben Dias last season, has led to Laporte being sidelined at the Etihad.

According to the Transfer Window Podcast, the 27-year-old is unsettled in Manchester and is ‘pushing’ for a move.

Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Spanish international but may struggle to afford a deal this summer.

The Spanish right-back has been linked with an exit to Italy, with Serie A champions Inter Milan keen on a move.

So far Inter have failed to meet the Gunners asking price, but there is optimism that an agreement can be reached on a loan deal with a purchase option attached.

6. Kurt Zouma – Chelsea

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is set to be the second centre-half to depart Stamford Bridge this summer.

Fikayo Tomori joined AC Milan last month in a £25m move, and Zouma has been linked with London rivals West Ham.

However, there’s a chance that the Frenchman could depart the Premier League completely.

The Blues could offer Zouma as part-exchange in their deal to bring Sevilla defender Jules Kounde to Stamford Bridge.

7. Serge Aurier – Tottenham

Right-back Serge Aurier could be one of many fringe players to exit Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The 28-year-old Ivorian fell out of favour last term and has been linked with a switch to Europe to get his career back on track.

Former club PSG were linked but have now shelled out for Achraf Hakimi. There is, however, still reported interest in Aurier from Italy as a summer exit beckons.

8. Davinson Sanchez – Tottenham

Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez is another name likely to depart North London this summer.

The Colombian has failed to nail down a starting slot since his big-money £38m switch from Ajax back in 2017.

He made just 18 Premier League appearances last term and is surplus to requirements, made evident by the Londoner’s summer pursuit of Atalanta defender Cristian Romero.

Sanchez has been linked with Spanish outfit Sevilla as a possible replacement for Chelsea-bound Kounde.

The 34-year-old was signed as competition for Hugo Lloris, but the ex-Man City man has spent his time in North London warming the bench.

It now seems as though Hart’s time in the Premier League is coming to an end, with Scottish giants Celtic reportedly close to tying up a cut-price deal for the former title-winner.

10. Sead Kolasinac – Arsenal

Serbian left-back Sead Kolasinac is another name who is set to depart the Premier League this summer.

The Sun reports that the 28-year-old negotiating a deal to tear up his Arsenal contract to free him up to revive his career in Europe.

Kolasinac has been on the fringes under Mikel Arteta recently but could be set for a switch to Turkey.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are said to be keen on providing the Serbia international with a new home.
