AC Milan

Juventus to rival Milan for Borussia Dortmund defender

Juventus are set to battle AC Milan for the signature of Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier who is primed for a move in January, a report claims.

As has been reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes (via Calciomercato.com), the Belgian defender is destined to leave Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window and two of his potential suitors are in Serie A.

One of them is AC Milan who would like to provide more depth behind Davide Calabria when he returns from injury, and the other is major rival Juventus.

It is a fight that, considering the lack of a functioning board at Juventus, the Rossoneri would like to think that they can win.

The 31-year-old has not been able to produce his best form in the Bundesliga but he was a very impressive player with Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 in recent years. He would also add more experience to a young Milan defence.
