Milan have already made some moves on the market and there is more to come, with work underway to keep some of the loanees. Diogo Dalot is one of them but the operation, as expected, is complicated.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanLive), Dalot is eager to return to Milan after what was a positive season for him. The Rossoneri are back in the Champions League and are looking better than ever, so it’s not a surprise that he wants to stay.
The obstacle remains Man Utd as their head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, would like to evaluate the right-back during pre-season. In addition, the proposed formula of a loan with an option to buy hasn’t convinced the English side.
With that said, the summer is long and a lot can happen in that time. Dalot’s will to return could help Milan in the negotiations but patience will be needed to break down Man Utd.
