Ten Hag makes decision

Erik ten Hag is happy for Manchester United to part ways with Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly and Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Goalkeeper Henderson is in talks with Newcastle over a summer move while reports suggest the club are open to offers for defensive pair Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Eric Bailly with the duo having fallen out of favour at the club. The departures could help United raise funds for the overhaul Ten Hag is planning, and also cut down their bloated first-team squad.

Ronaldo wish granted

Erik ten Hag is set to arrive at the club at the end of the season and begin a huge overhaul of the playing squad. But one player he won’t be looking to move on is Ronaldo – and the Portuguese striker is set to have his wish of playing alongside another forward granted as well.

Ronaldo reportedly told the club in March to bring in another striker who can hold up the ball, work the channels and stretch defences so that he can move out to a wider position from the left.

United are thought to be keen to bring in a new right winger this summer, and Antony would appear to fit the bill. With Ten Hag enjoying a strong relationship with the player in Holland, United are bound to be interested in the player should he become available this summer.

And the Brazilian has hinted he’d be keen to link up with Ten Hag once again as well.
