Cristiano Ronaldo has made history by breaking the record for the most international caps by a men’s player with his 197th appearance for Portugal.
Ronaldo was included in the starting XI for Portugal’s opening Euro 2024 qualifying match against Liechtenstein on Thursday, surpassing Kuwait forward Bader Al-Mutawa.
The former Manchester United star, and now Al Nassr captain, has scored the most goals in men’s international football with 118 goals.
