Jude Bellingham wasted no time in showing the world that he’s a complete footballer.
The midfielder is capable of playing the ball, picking out a good pass for his strikers, but also getting into the opponent’s box with the effectiveness of a striker. At just 19 years of age, he started for England in their match against Iran and left his mark by heading home the opening goal after 35 minutes.
He then played a key role in England‘s attack, appearing on the right, the left and, above all, the opponent’s penalty area. He played a decisive role in England’s third and sixth goals with a wonderful pass to Callum Wilson, who set up Jack Grealish. Bellingham’s price tag was already sky high after his stellar season at Borussia Dortmund, but it’s almost certainly gone up after the first game of the World Cup.
There are two teams vying for his signature next season. One is Liverpool, the other is Real Madrid, who are looking for a replacement for Luka Modric. The fight between the two European giants will be titanic, though the player will ultimately have the last word.

No midfield in the world would match them in terms of physically and drive, not to mention youth, but Florentino Perez is aware that his signing isn’t simple because Liverpool want him alongside Luis Diaz.
The Colombian would have a luxury companion just behind him, a different player, but one that fits Jurgen Klopp‘s way of seeing football.
