Real Mallorca captain Raillo accuses Vinicius of disrespectful, insulting behaviour

Real Mallorca captain Antonio Raillo offered his opinion on Vinicius Junior after his controversial behaviour during the LaLiga match between the two sides on September 11, which Real Madrid won 4-1.

Raillo has accused Vinicius of winding his opponents up before citing racism as the reason for retaliation.

Vinicius’ dancing

The defender also said he had no problem with Vinicius dancing, but took issue with his other antics.

Vinicius should dance, but he shouldn’t be foul, he shouldn’t insult or belittle his fellow professionals; then when he is branded as provocative he uses the race card,” said Raillo in an interview with Diario de Mallorca, which was then reported by Onda Cero.

In the interview, Raillo stressed that Mallorca should fare better this season than they did last year.

“If I watch Mallorca I say: “oh my God, what a bore”, but what matters are the points,” Raillo continued.

What happened to Vinicius during Real Madrid 4-1 Mallorca?

Jose Felix Diaz reported in MARCA that it was a phrase from Javier Aguirre that outraged Vinicius.

The Mallorca coach encouraged his players to “hit him, hit him” in reference to Vinicius.

Toni Kroos and Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti had to calm Vinicius down, after he got into a confrontation with the Mallorca players.

The Mallorca players were unhappy that Vinicius celebrated his goal in the 2-1 win with a dance.

“You have to talk on the pitch, not here. What happens on the pitch stays there,” said Javier Aguirre after the game.
