Real Madrid can only focus on winning from now until the end of the LaLiga Santander season if they are to overtake Atletico at the summit, but the Champions League tie against Liverpool has entered the mind of Zinedine Zidane when picking his starting XI against Eibar.
The French coach is already without Sergio Ramos through injury, but he has also opted to rest fellow central defender Raphael Varane, as well as Toni Kroos for the visit of Eibar.
Zidane looks to be setting up with three centre-backs, with Ferland Mendy one of them, and Marcelo as a left wing back.
Isco also gets a rare start, joining Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema in attack.
