Real Madrid‘s Clasico win on Saturday night was bittersweet, particularly for Lucas Vazquez.
The Galician was injured in a clash with Sergio Busquets and looks to have had his season ended, with Real Madrid confirming that he sprained a posterior ligament in his left knee.
But Lucas is staying positive, and he took to social media on Sunday to share a message with supporters.
“I’ll have to help the team from the outside for a while,” Lucas wrote on Instagram. “Down, but not out.
“If this club has taught me anything it’s to always work and to always fight. From now on, I’ll give my all to return as soon as possible and help the team in the final stretch.
“Thanks so much to everyone for the messages. There is one single goal: to fight for LaLiga and the Champions League.”
Naturally, Lucas‘ post ended with “#HalaMadrid”.
