Radio MARCA: Al Khelaifi and Leonardo went down at half time to put pressure on referee


Paris Saint-Germain just about claimed a 1-0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday thanks to some late Kylian Mbappe magic, but the hosts had their frustrations on the night.

Before being awarded a second-half penalty, PSG were frustrated with Daniele Orsato‘s officiating, and they let him know about it.

According to Radio MARCA, both Nasser Al Khelaifi and Leonardo went down to pitch level at half time in order to speak to the referee.

Orsato did show yellow cards to both Casemiro and Ferland Mendy that will rule each out of the second leg in Madrid on March 9.

Bad signs for Real Madrid

Orsato had officiated four games involving Real Madrid preciously, with those ending in two wins and two losses. The draws came against Malmo and Galatasaray, while the defeat came to Manchester City and Chelsea in their last two eliminations from the competition.
