Cadiz will replicate Leeds United‘s anti-European Super League stance when they host Real Madrid at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza on Wednesday night.
Leeds wore t-shirts prior to their match against Liverpool on Monday which read ‘Football is for the fans’ on the back and ‘Earn it’ on the front.
“Super League? Football belongs to everyone,” the message on Cadiz‘s shirt will read.
Osasuna and Valencia to also wear anti-Super League t-shirts
On Wednesday evening, prior to Cadiz and Real Madrid‘s match, Osasuna and Valencia will show solidarity with the non-European Super League clubs by displaying the same message that the Leeds players went with: ‘Earn it’.
There will be a meeting held by LaLiga with the 17 presidents of the clubs affected by the European Super League proposal in the coming hours, and it seems clear that more protests are set to follow.
