Alaba on the madness of Real Madrid’s Champions League run: It’s a unique period that words can’t explain

Real Madrid are on mere days away from another Champions League final. Carlo Ancelotti‘s Los Blancos will face Liverpool, and Jurgen Klopp‘s side have been one of the favourites to win the trophy since the season began.

Expectations are growing as the date of the final approaches, and many are expecting it to be an intense battle between two of European football’s most prestigious sides.

“We know Liverpool are a very strong team with a lot of strengths,” said David Alaba to Radio MARCA’s MARCADOR. “They play with a lot of intensity, and they have a coach who knows how to give that to his teams.

“We’re really looking forward to the game.”

Alaba himself has 23 titles in his successful career to date, and he is very grateful for what he has been able to achieve.

“I’ve had a lot of important moments in my career,” Alaba said. “It’s been very successful, but yes, this final is very special for me.

“I came to a new club, a club with a lot of goals, and to play with new teammates.”
