Barcelona travel to Seville to take on Real Betis on Wednesday night as they seek to move further ahead of Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga Santander table.
The Blaugrana have got their fate in their own hands after a whirlwind summer of transfers and Xavi will know that his side can’t drop any points whilst Real Madrid are in a poor patch of form.
Their lead is now up to five points over Los Blancos after they drew with Real Sociedad at the weekend. Real Betis are in a mixed patch of form having won two, lost two and drawn one of their last five in the league.

The hosts only have one major injury concern which is with winger Juan Cruz. He has not played since October and is not expected to feature here. Nabil Fekir and Juanmi were back on the bench in their last game, so they could be in line to start against Barcelona.

Ousmane Dembele will be absent for Barcelona as he suffered a thigh injury against Girona and could be out for about three weeks. Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres will return from suspension though.
