Torino will try and keep Tommaso Pobega beyond the expiry of his loan spell at the end of the season and they have an offer ready, a report claims.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that with the €11m that Torino will save from not buying Josip Brekalo – who told the management that he does not want to stay beyond his loan spell – Torino could thus have the liquidity to make a serious attempt to sign Pobega.
The paper even claim that Urbano Cairo and the Granata management could put €15m on the table, a figure that they hope will make Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara at least sit down at the negotiating table.
Given he is a youth academy product it would be a pure capital gain which gives further room for manoeuvre on the market, but the last word will belong to head coach Stefano Pioli and who he wants in his squad.
