Real Madrid – La Liga: Enrique Riquelme: The lifelong Madridista who has a photo with Messi

The Real Madrid presidential elections are approaching, with Florentino Perez hitting the fourth year of his latest term this year. This Friday, the businessman Enrique Riquelme has made headlines by talking about the current situation facing Real Madrid and the fact that he might potentially run against the current president.

Born in Cox in Alicante 32 years ago, he is a pioneering entrepreneur in the solar sector of Latin America and his business also has a presence in Spain.

Riquelme has also been included in the list of the 100 most influential Latinos against climate change.

He is passionate about sports, from Formula E to golf, and has been a Real Madrid fan since birth. He was with family and friends at the respective Champions League finals in Milan, Kiev and Cardiff and he hasn’t hidden his passion for Los Blancos on social media, posting a number of photographs from inside the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

In addition, in 2019 his company Cox Energy sponsored the first tournament in the fight against climate change, with Roma facing Real Madrid during pre-season.
