Raphael Varane ‘gives Man Utd his word’ transfer will happen as personal terms ‘agreed’

Raphael Varane has reportedly given Manchester United his word that he will be joining in this summer’s transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made signing a forward and a centre-back his priority this month and has already agreed on a deal with Jadon Sancho for £73million.

His attention is now firmly on Varane, who he believes can bolster Manchester United’s defence and provide them with what they need to win the Premier League in the coming season.

Varane is out of contract at Real Madrid next summer and has no plans to sign a new contract with the La Liga club.
