Kessie unlikely to start against Bologna after individual session on Thursday

Despite reports over the last few days claiming the contrary, Franck Kessie is now unlikely to start the game against Bologna tomorrow night as per a report.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Kessie had a separate training session yesterday while today he worked with the rest of the squad in a group, having clearly overcome some kind of minor physical issue.

The report adds that for the trip to face Bologna, the double pivot in the midfield should be Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer again, just as it was in the away match in the Champions League against Porto on Tuesday night.

Kessie was not available for the 1-0 defeat at the Estadio do Dragao having picked up a suspension for the red card he received in the previous Champions League group stage game against Atletico Madrid at San Siro, but he is not likely to return to the starting line-up straight away.
