Georgina hinted Ronaldo will be in the starting XI by posting a boomerang of her being chauffeured to Old Trafford on Instagram.

The Insta story included a countdown timer to kick-off, which also suggest he’d been given the nod by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And the manager’s decision was officially confirmed an hour before kick-off, leaving millions of viewers around the world excited.

Ronaldo’s mum Dolores Aveiro will be delighted with the news after flying to Manchester to watch her superstar son in action.

Dolores doesn’t usually watch Ronaldo play in big games because she gets too nervous, twice FAINTING at the ground.

SunSport revealed on Saturday morning that Ronaldo would start against the Magpies, 12 years after he left Man Utd for Real Madrid.

Solskjaer has promised supporters the Portuguese forward is an even better player than the superstar that said bye to Old Trafford in 2009.

The manager said: “He has evolved as a player. I don’t think you’ll see those 18,19, 20 step-overs before he goes past you but he still has them, the step-over, shift and shoot.

“He has developed into one of the most accurate finishers I have seen. What he developed in his years at Real Madrid has impressed us all.”

Ronaldo and his family moved to Manchester at the beginning of September to live in a multi-million pound mansion following his transfer.

His kids have already been enrolled at a local school, with Georgina posting a snap of the four on Instagram ahead of their first day last week.
