GdS: Milan target Real Madrid playmaker Isco

With Milan’s search to replace Hakan Calhanoglu well underway, a new name has emerged as a potential target, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are looking for a profile with certain characteristics, a player who knows how to combine running and quality, acting between the lines in Pioli’s tried and tested 4-2-3-1.

Now, the Rossoneri are also thinking about Isco as a potential target, and the Spaniard could leave Real Madrid after eight years of ups and downs. The 29-year-old is deemed as not needed by Los Blancos and while it is not a simple negotiation for Milan, the valuation of the former Malaga star has gone down.

There is no shortage of suitors, but the Rossoneri can rely on excellent relations with Real Madrid and, of course, with Carlo Ancelotti. Milan could return to negotiate with Florentino Perez after the Brahim Diaz operation, as Maldini and Massara are eyeing another loan with option to buy deal.
