Chicharito’s first MLS double helps LA Galaxy to win over Inter Miami

The LA Galaxy started their MLS season with a 3-2 win over Inter Miami in Florida, with Javier Hernandez scoring twice for the visitors.

After Robbie Robinson had given Miami the lead, the former Real Madrid man struck just his second goal for the Galaxy to equalise.

Gonzalo Higuain‘s penalty put David Beckham‘s club in front once more, only for Hernandez to hit back minutes after.

Sacha Kljestan netted the winning goal with some 10 minutes to go to seal the points for the Galaxy. This was the first time since March 2019 that Hernandez had scored two goals in one game – for West Ham against Huddersfield.
