Karim Benzema didn’t participate in training with the rest of his Real Madrid teammates on Friday as he worked out individually in the gym at Valdebebas.
The French striker played all 90 minutes in Real Madrid‘s 1-0 victory away at Inter in the Champions League on Wednesday, and he has not suffered any reported injury.
This means that if Benzema trains normally on Saturday, he will be at Carlo Ancelotti‘s disposal for Los Blancos‘ LaLiga Santander clash against Valencia at Mestalla on Sunday at 20:00 BST.
Meanwhile, Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Marcelo and Ferland Mendy all worked out individually as they are recovering from their respective injuries.
Mariano Diaz trained in the gym too, despite Real Madrid not having announced whether he has picked up a knock.
Ancelotti‘s players performed some fitness drills at the beginning of Friday’s session and then moved on to some ball work, as well as control and finishing exercises.
