Camavinga within reach, more than ever

Despite both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid having been interested in signing Eduardo Camavinga, none of the two teams are expected to make an official offer to his current employer Rennes.

For the time being, Manchester United have emerged as the front-runners to acquire Camavinga’s services this summer, with the Red Devils reportedly being willing to make a 25 million euro offer to sign the Frenchman.

According to Le Parisien, PSG will not make a move for the France international, who became the youngest player to score for Les Blues in more than 70 years and featured in the Champions League last season.

Following Camavinga‘s emergence to the scene, his price tag has dropped significantly from the 70m euros Rennes were asking for last year.

Camavinga has informed his club that he is not willing to renew his contract, one which runs until June 2022 and Rennes are not eager to lose him on a free transfer next summer.
