It was yet another frustrating night for Manchester United on Tuesday night as they drew 1-1 with Burnley at Turf Moor.

Jay Rodriguez’s 100th career league goal – and first in 50 games – earned relegation-battling Burnley a draw to damage United’s top four hopes.

It comes after Moonpig were forced to issue an apology to Cristiano Ronaldo for a Valentine’s Day card depicting an image of the United star.

And Leeds United’s Brazilian winger Raphinha has responded to recent transfer speculation linking him with a big-money move to Old Trafford this summer.

Burnley talking points

Despite dominating the first half, United once again failed to claim victory as they drew 1-1 with Burnley on Tuesday night.

Paul Pogba, making his first start since his red card against Liverpool in October, put the Red Devils ahead with a thumping effort after Raphael Varane’s header was ruled out for Harry Maguire’s block on Jay Rodriguez.

United then had a second goal ruled out for a foul by Pogba on Erik Pieters in the build-up.

Ronaldo apology

Moonpig has apologised for a Valentine’s day card featuring Cristiano Ronaldo which appeared on its website.

The card showed a portrayal of the United star with the message: “Nothing will stop me scoring this Valentine’s Day.”

But the controversial card has now been pulled from the seller’s website after it came in for heavy criticism online.

Fans slammed the card on social media, and Moonpig has confirmed it has now been removed from its site.

Raphina responds to reports

Leeds United star Raphinha has responded to recent reports linking him with a big-money move to Manchester United.

The Brazilian has impressed in the Premier League after arriving from Rennes in 2020, registering 14 goals and 11 assists in 49 league games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

West Ham tried to sign him during the recent January transfer window, while the winger has also been linked with a move to Liverpool.

And with so much speculation surrounding his future at Elland Road, Raphinha has now spoken out about the recent reports linking him with a move away.
