In just over two weeks Juventus Women’s new season will officially begin, when they play their UWCL match against Macedonian champions, Kamenica Sasa. To best prepare for the game, the Bianconere will play three more warm up matches, in order to keep putting minutes in their legs. After two good victories (12-0 against Birkirkara and 4-1 against Servette) both obtained in Vinovo, Juventus Women depart today for France, where tomorrow at 19:00 CEST they take on Montpellier in a replay of the friendly played last season and won 2-1 by the Bianconere, with goals from Sara Gama and Andrea Staskova. The journey of Joe Montemurro’s team will then continue to Barcelona, as on Sunday 8th August, before the men’s first team take to the pitch, Juventus Women will play against Barcelona Femení for the Gamper Trophy. Upon returning to Italy there will still be one more test against new Serie A team, Pomigliano (scheduled for 12th August), before the UWCL match.
