Juventus trio Weston McKennie, Paulo Dybala and Arthur will be recalled for Thursday’s clash with Napoli after they were left out of the squad for the Turin derby against Torino for attending an illegal party.

The three players were fined by police for violating lockdown rules and were heavily sanctioned by the Serie A club after McKennie hosted a gathering of 12 people at his home. 

Both Dybala and McKennie were in attendance and all three were suspended by manager Andrea Pirlo but they returned to training on Sunday.

Arthur was in attendance at the party, which was held at McKennie's house

The police broke up the party on Wednesday night at around 11:30pm.

Under current coronavirus rules in Italy, private parties have been banned – with a nationwide curfew in place currently from 10pm until 5am.

The police were called to McKennie’s house by neighbours, who were annoyed by the noise levels.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport, the police waited outside the American forward’s house for an hour before they were eventually let inside.

Juve were furious with the players and took action against all three. The club felt particularly let down by Dybala with the hierarchy keen to offload him in the summer.

However, Pirlo needs his strongest squad available for Thursday’s important fixture. 

Napoli’s victory over Crotone put them level on points with Juve as Pirlo’s side could only manage a 2-2 draw with Torino.

That result level the Old Lady 12 points behind leaders Inter Milan and facing a battle to qualify for the Champions League.
