Juventus reappointed Massimiliano Allegri as their manager last week, with the 53-year-old replacing Andrea Pirlo after two years away from management.
Allegri returns to Juventus with the club in a much worse position than they were when he left in 2019.
In a disappointing campaign under Pirlo, Juventus’ dominance in Serie A came to an end as they only managed to finish fourth and they were eliminated from the Champions League in the round of 16 by Porto.
The club has also been hit hard financially by the coronavirus pandemic and, according to a report from Goal, Allegri held a transfer summit with Juventus’ staff on Thursday to discuss potential incomings and outgoings this summer.

The future of Cristiano Ronaldo was said to be one of the major topics of discussion, with the Portuguese superstar linked with a move away.
Ronaldo has one year left on his current deal with the club and the report claims that Juventus officials believes the 36-year-old is exploring his options.
Allegri is said to be keen to for Ronaldo’s future to be sorted as soon as possible.
Last month, Ronaldo posted a lengthy message on Instagram where he said he had “reached a goal” at Juventus, with some taking his post as a hint that he could be leaving.
“The life and career of any top player are made of ups and downs,” Ronaldo wrote. “Year after year, we face fantastic teams, with extraordinary players and ambitious goals, so we always have to give our best to keep ourselves at excellent levels.
“This year we couldn’t win Serie A, congratulations to Inter for the well-deserved title. However, I have to value everything that we achieved this season at Juventus, both in collective and individual terms.
“The Italian Super Cup, the Italian Cup and the Serie A Top Scorer trophy fill me with happiness, mainly due to the difficulty they carry with them, in a country where nothing is easy to win.
“With these achievements, I reached a goal that I had set myself since the first day I arrived in Italy: to win the Championship, the Cup and the Super Cup, and also to be Best Player and Top Scorer in this great football country filled with tremendous players, giant clubs and its very own football culture.

Another player whose future needs to be resolved is Paulo Dybala, who is also entering the final year of his current deal.
Allegri and Dybala shared a strong relationship during Allegri’s previous reign and Juventus are currently in talks with the player’s representatives over an extension.
