A Cristiano Ronaldo goal aided Juventus’ 3-2 victory over Inter Milan in Serie A to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
The victory has moved them to fourth in the table, two points ahead of Napoli who play Fiorentina on Sunday morning.
If Napoli secure a win they will then leapfrog Ronaldo’s team with just one round of fixtures to play.
Ronaldo’s goal got the scoring underway at the Allianz Stadium but Romelu Lukaku equalised for Inter from the spot.
Giorgio Chiellini put through his own net with seven minutes remaining to again level proceedings after Juan Cuadrado had put the Old Lady in front.

But the Colombian scored a late penalty to ensure the Bianconeri came out on top in a game which ending in drama as both teams were reduced to 10 men.
Juventus’ Rodrigo Bentancur was shown a red in the 55th minute, while Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic was sent off in stoppage time.
Ronaldo’s strike means he has taken his goal tally for the club beyond three figures which will delight and sadden fans as they will be wondering if next week’s match against Bologna will be his last in a Juventus shirt.
The Portuguese international’s future at the club is uncertain with reports suggesting they can no longer afford his wages due to the impact of Covid-19.
There are also suggestions that Ronaldo has been isolated in the dressing room as his teammates take issue with the freedom afforded to him.
Failure to qualify for the Champions League could also force Ronaldo’s hand in the transfer window.
It’s understood Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the striker.
The 36-year-old has previously been linked with a return to Old Trafford having enjoyed six trophy-laden years with the Red Devils.
