Olivier Giroud came off the bench in Milan’s friendly encounter with Nice last night and it didn’t take him long to introduce himself. With his first touch, he headed in the equaliser for his new side.

Inevitably, the fans were very excited with his impact and the Frenchman was praised a lot last night. He certainly showed why Milan were so keen on signing him and if he continues like this, he will be very important this upcoming season.

As said, the fans were very happy with his performance and they made it known on Twitter. Having signed the 34-year-old for €1m plus an additional €1m in bonuses, it seems the investment was well worth it.

“Thanks Chelsea,” a fan wrote on Twitter, while Pietro Balzano Prota followed up with “First of many”. You can take a look at some of the reactions from the Rossoneri fans below.
