Tiemoue Bakayoko knows that he is not a big part of Stefano Pioli’s plans and a summer exit now appears increasingly likely, a report claims.
MilanNews reports that the French midfielder – who missed the last two friendlies against Vicenza and Pergolettese through Stefano Pioli’s choice – has understood even more now that he is right at the bottom of the midfield hierarchies heading into 2022-23.
Bakayoko does not want another season of just being on the bench while the club and the management expected a better contribution from him, but it has not worked out since he sealed his return to the club.
Once his agents have found a solution that feels right for Bakayoko, it will then be possible to proceed with the early termination of the two-year loan that was agreed between Milan and Chelsea. Bakayoko would formally return to the Premier League before then joining his new club.
