Chelsea finally returned to winning ways in the Premier League last week with their 3-0 victory away to Leeds United and will look to build on that with a victory over Leicester City on Thursday night, despite suffering more Wembley heartbreak in Saturday’s FA Cup final.
The Foxes travel to Stamford Bridge for what is their game in hand hoping to build on two successive victories, in which they have climbed up to ninth and can secure a top half finish with another win here.
A victory for the Blues will secure a third place finish for them this season, while three points for Leicester would see them leapfrog Wolves and into eighth.
When is Chelsea vs Leicester?
Chelsea vs Leicester will kick-off at 8pm on Thursday, May 19 at Stamford Bridge.
The last meeting between these two sides came in the reverse league fixture back in November, when Chelsea ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at the King Power Stadium.
First half goals from Antonio Rudiger and N’Golo Kante gave the Blues a commanding lead by half-time, before Christian Pulisic rounded off the victory in the 71st minute to keep his side at the top of the league.

Team news
Following 120 minutes of football on Saturday ahead of the penalty shoot-out defeat to Liverpool, Thomas Tuchel may heavily consider changing things around for the Blues, with one eye also on the visit of Watford in just three days’ time.
And the Chelsea boss could be without four of his players for this contest, although he will hope for potential returns for both Kai Havertz (thigh) and Timo Werner, who missed out on Saturday’s FA Cup final defeat. Callum Hudson-Odoi (calf) and Ben Chilwell (knee) remain sidelined.
As for Brendan Rodgers, he will hope to take advantage of Chelsea’s low morale and could attempt to field his strongest possible side here, as the Foxes look to pull off a shock and secure a top half finish this season.
But he is expected to be without the injured trio of Ricardo Pereira (thigh), Wilfred Ndidi (knee) and Ryan Bertrand (knee), although Nampalys Mendy (illness) and Hamza Choudhury (knock) are currently being assessed as they look for returns to the side.
