Bakayoko could be the perfect addition for Milan and their midfield

Milan are expected to sign a midfielder this summer to solve their current depth issue, having sent Soualiho Meite back to Torino. Several names have been mentioned already and one of them is Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The Frenchman, of course, spent the 2018/19 season on loan with the Rossoneri and did relatively well. However, due to the high demand of Chelsea, Milan opted not to sign him and he ended up at Monaco instead.

This past season, Bakayoko was at Napoli with Gennaro Gattuso and it was a positive season for him. He made 44 appearances for the team, scoring two goals and assisting an additional one, above all important in the defensive phase.

As highlighted by MilanNews, in a two-man midfield, Bakayoko could be the perfect addition for Milan with his physicality and dedication in both phases. Thanks to the first spell, most of us already know what he can bring to the team.

In addition to the physicality, he will help out the defence a lot and he could complement Ismael Bennacer very well, but also Franck Kessie when the latter goes forward. In short, he could be the right man for Milan.
