Milan are looking to sign at least one midfielder this summer, having sent Soualiho Meite back to Torino. Furthermore, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will miss some games due to the AFCONs.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the main candidates to reinforce the midfield are Tiemoue Bakayoko and Boubacar Kamara. The former, of course, spent the 2018/19 season on loan with the Rossoneri.
Marseille are asking for €20m to part ways with Kamara and aren’t willing to accept any technical counterparts. As for Bakayoko, meanwhile, it will be necessary to reach an agreement with Chelsea on several fronts, given the negotiations.
The two clubs are also talking about Olivier Giroud and Hakim Ziyech, and the perfect solution will be needed to get this maxi-operation over the line. Having said that, it seems very likely that a midfielder will arrive this summer (in addition to Tonali).
