Revenge will be on the agenda for Liverpool when they face Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday.
The meeting between the two sides will be the first since 2018’s controversial final in Kiev, in which the Reds’ hearts were broken as Los Blancos came out on top 3-1.
Winning Europe’s elite prize this season may be Liverpool’s only hope of playing in it again in the next campaign, with a top four place in the Premier League looking difficult to achieve.

Like the rest of the Champions League games this season the fixture can be watched via BT Sport, with Liverpool’s game on BT Sport 2 and Manchester City’s clash against Borussia Dortmund on BT Sport 3.
