With Manchester United leaving plenty to be desired under Ralf Rangnick, Mirror Football looks at some of the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Red Devils

Manchester United’s victory against Brentford has done little to relieve the increasing doubt towards Ralf Rangnick and his methods.
A first ever senior United goal for Anthony Elanga, followed by strikes from Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford secured a 3-1 away victory against Thomas Frank’s side.
However, questions are still being asked, as the Bees took the game to United and perhaps ought to have gone into half-time with a sizable lead.
While results have improved since Rangnick replaced the sackedOle Gunnar Solskjaer, United still appear to be struggling in their matches.
And with United’s performances still failing to convince, Mirror Football considers the players who could be sold or bought to help improve their performances.

Manchester United are reportedly reluctant to let Donny van de Beek leave, as they do ‘not necessarily see the need’ to loan the player.
The Dutchman’s fortunes have not improved under Rangnick, as he has only played seven Premier League minutes since the German manager took over.
His lack of appearances and chances since he arrived from Ajax for £35m in the summer of 2019 are well documented, and have subsequently prompted numerous stories linking him with a move away from Old Trafford.
However, reports from Dutch outlet Algemeen Dagblad believe United will not loan the midfielder, as they do not “necessarily see the need to loan him”.
Despite his lack of minutes, United reportedly still believe he is a good squad player whose professionalism and attitude has been exemplary.
Everton, Newcastle United, and Wolves have all reportedly been linked with a move for the former Netherlands international.
Potential Martial deal is ‘complicated’

Anthony Martial is still Sevilla’s ‘first option’ to strengthen their forward the line, despite the fact the La Liga giants recognise the difficulty of signing the Frenchman.
Martial’s future was thrown into doubt after Rangnick stated that he left him out of the United squad to face Aston Villa as he “didn’t want to be in the squad”.
While the Frenchman staunchly denied Rangnick’s assertion, Martial’s future is still in a state of doubt, having fallen behind the likes of Jadon Sancho, Elanga, Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Mason Greenwood in the pecking order.
But despite Martial’s apparent low ranking status amongst Rangnick’s attacking options, Sevilla are still struggling to agree a loan move for the Frenchman, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
United are reportedly demanding Julen Lopetegui’s side to pay a loan fee and his full salary over the course of his loan.
To make matters even harder for the Spanish giants, Martial has also reportedly been linked with another move to Juventus.
Rangnick’s good relationship with Rudiger

Rangnick’s positive relationship with the agent of Antonio Rudiger could help trigger a move for the Chelsea defender.
The German defender is currently free to agree pre-contract agreements with prospective clubs, as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Competition to sign the Champions League winner is believed to be fierce with the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid both expressing an interest in recent months.
However, further reports from Marca understand Rangnick’s understanding with his agent Sehr Senesie could help facilitate a stunning move for the defender.
While Rudiger will be available for a free transfer if he does not agree a new deal with Chelsea, the former Roma defender’s wage demands, believed to be around £46m over the course of four years, would make him an expensive purchase.
TalkSPORT transfer insider Alex Crook claimed Rudiger will not stay at Chelsea, regardless of the amount of money they are willing to pay for him.
